Why a cooling case

Made for the hot days.

Thirty degrees on the balcony. A car that stood in the sun. Two weeks away with a spare in your bag.

01

When it gets properly hot

Room temperature is one thing. A beach bag at noon, or a car that has been parked in the sun, is another. This is where a cool spot in your bag starts to matter.

02

When you travel

Two weeks away means more than the pen in your pocket. It means the spare supply, in hand luggage, through airports and hotel rooms and afternoons you did not plan for.

03

When you carry a spare

The pen in use travels with you anyway. The backup is the one you want to keep somewhere cool, and the one you do not want rolling around loose at the bottom of a bag.

The inside

Built for your cases.

Dimensioned around two DIAVY cases and the cooling pack. Everything has one place to be, and it stays there.

Packed and ready

Your hot day companion, packed

DIAVY Cooling Case packed: cooling pack in the lid pocket, two pen and needle cases under the elastic straps in the base
  1. 01

    Freeze the pack

At least 24 hours at −18 °C or colder. Lay it flat. If your freezer is small or gets opened a lot, give it 48.

  2. 02

    Pack goes in the lid

Slide it into the mesh pocket.

  3. 03

    Cases go in the base

Two DIAVY cases under the elastic strap. Zip it shut and go.

Why 24 hours? A eutectic pack takes longer to condition than a cheap water pack, because it actually changes phase all the way through. Freeze it the night before and it is ready when you are.

FAQ

Before you buy

How long does it stay cool?

We are not putting a number on it, and we would be careful with anyone who does. It depends on the weather and how often you open the case. We are measuring it properly and will publish the result with the conditions attached.

What is different about the cooling pack?

Most cooling cases include frozen water in a soft pouch. Ours is a eutectic phase change pack in a rigid shell. It needs longer to condition, releases more evenly, and is built to be used again and again.

Where does the pack go?

In the mesh pocket in the lid, always. Never loose in the base. That keeps it flat and keeps your hardshell cases between the pack and what is inside them.

How long does the pack need?

A full 24 hours, laid flat. Give it 48 if your freezer is small or gets opened a lot. Two hours will not do it.

Does it replace a fridge?

No. This is for carrying things with you. Your supply at home belongs in the fridge.

What fits inside?

Two DIAVY cases in the base and the cooling pack in the lid. The cases are not included.

Will it work with my pens?

If your pen fits a DIAVY case, it fits in here. That covers insulin pens and the common GLP-1 pens. Check yours on the Pen & Needle Case page.

Is the pack safe around children?

The contents are not classified as hazardous under the EU CLP regulation, and the shell is rigid rather than a pouch that can be bitten open. Still: not food, do not open it, keep it out of reach. Full safety information comes in the box.

Can I warm it instead?

No. Cooling only. Not in the microwave, not in boiling water, not on a radiator.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the case with a damp cloth and air dry. No machine wash. Rinse the pack under the tap.

How fast do you ship?

From northern Germany with DHL. Germany 1 to 3 working days, EU 5+ working days. Free over 32 €.

What if I do not like it?

100 days to test it, free return, full refund.
